Avanza al siguiente nivel cuando ya reconozcas la mayoría de estas palabras, o vuelve al nivel anterior si necesitas reforzar vocabulario básico.
El nivel A2 es el puente entre sobrevivir con frases muy simples y empezar a desenvolverte en contextos cotidianos. En este nivel sigues usando estructuras claras y directas, pero necesitas vocabulario para resolver situaciones más variadas: completar datos personales, describir dónde vives, hablar de rutinas, pedir en un restaurante, explicar un problema de salud, comprar, viajar y mantener intercambios breves con otras personas.
La sección de datos personales y relaciones incluye palabras como name, surname, age, address, phone number, email, country, city, husband, wife, neighbor y familiares cercanos. Este vocabulario aparece en formularios, presentaciones, conversaciones iniciales y situaciones administrativas.
En casa, ciudad y entorno, la lista amplía el vocabulario A1 con palabras como flat, apartment, living room, sofa, fridge, oven, washing machine, garden, street, neighborhood y building. Ya no solo dices que tienes una casa: puedes describir habitaciones, objetos y el barrio donde vives.
La categoría de vida diaria y rutinas es central en A2. Expresiones como wake up, get up, have breakfast, go to work, start, finish, arrive, leave, relax, shower, walk, wait, call y help permiten explicar qué haces durante el día y entender horarios o instrucciones simples.
También hay vocabulario específico para comida, restaurantes y hábitos, con palabras como coffee, tea, pasta, egg, salad, breakfast, lunch, dinner, menu, bill y restaurant. Este grupo es muy práctico porque te ayuda a pedir comida, hablar de preferencias y desenvolverte en restaurantes.
Las secciones de educación y lugares comunes, trabajo y profesiones, salud y cuerpo, compras y servicios, aficiones, deporte y ocio, viajes y transporte, naturaleza, animales y clima y celebraciones y cultura responden a temas que aparecen constantemente en clases, viajes y conversaciones reales. A2 no exige profundidad, pero sí capacidad de hablar de muchas áreas básicas.
El final de la lista consolida herramientas lingüísticas: verbos frecuentes A2 como ask, stop, open, close, find, give, take, make, know, think y feel; adjetivos A2 como tired, hungry, thirsty, friendly, dangerous, important, interesting, boring, fast, slow, full y empty; adverbios y expresiones de frecuencia como always, usually, often, sometimes, never, soon, later, again, here, there, very, really, slowly y quickly; y frases útiles A2 como I’d like..., I don’t understand, Can you repeat, please?, Where is the...?, How much is it? o Can I pay by card?.
Trabaja por situaciones, no por palabras sueltas. Un día practica restaurantes; otro, salud; otro, viajes; otro, compras; otro, rutinas. Después intenta crear mini diálogos usando las frases útiles.
Por ejemplo: combina I’d like..., menu, bill, cash y card para simular una conversación en un restaurante. O usa Where is the...?, station, left, right, near y far para practicar direcciones.
El objetivo de A2 es que puedas hablar de tu vida con frases sencillas pero completas. Cuando estas palabras empiezan a salir sin traducir palabra por palabra, estás listo para avanzar hacia B1.
